About Joanne
Joanne has spent her entire working career within the insurance industry, bringing decades of experience and knowledge to Spencer Hayes Group.
After leaving school at 15, Joanne began her career as an Office Junior in a solicitors’ office before joining the insurance industry at just 16 years old as an Insurance Clerk. While working full-time, she attended night school and achieved her Insurance Proficiency qualification at the age of 18, laying the foundations for a successful career that has spanned many years.
Although insurance wasn’t part of her original career plan, Joanne quickly discovered it was the perfect fit and has never looked back. She enjoys helping clients understand their insurance requirements, providing practical advice and building trusted, long-term relationships.
Outside of Work
Outside of work, Joanne enjoys spending time with her son and daughter, reading, listening to music, visiting friends and going for walks. At home in Colne, she’s also kept busy by her three cats – Penny, Peanut and Betty.
A keen traveller, Joanne has already enjoyed holidays in Scarborough, Turkey and Spain, with dreams of visiting destinations including Santorini, Sicily, Tuscany, the Maldives, Bali and Croatia in the future.
With her friendly approach and extensive industry experience, Joanne is passionate about helping businesses find the right insurance solutions and delivering the exceptional service Spencer Hayes Group is known for.
